Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, store and protect your personal information — and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: 4 July 2026. This policy explains how Kairoshire ("we", "us") handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Kairoshire is operated by El-Kairos International Services.

1. What we collect

When you register or use our tools we may collect: your name; contact details (email and/or mobile number); the roles and locations you're interested in; and, only if you choose to provide it, your work rights / visa status. If you use our free tools we may process the details you enter (for example, resume information). We also collect limited technical data such as the source or campaign that referred you.

2. Why we collect it (purpose)

Our primary purpose is recruitment: to match you with employers and to contact you about relevant job opportunities. If you separately opt in, we may also send you optional content about upskilling and income tools — this is a separate consent you can give or withhold, and withdraw at any time.

3. Consent

We collect and use your information on the basis of your consent. Registration involves two independent consents: (a) to be contacted about jobs and matched with employers; and (b) an optional marketing consent for skills and income content. You can withdraw either at any time without affecting the other.

4. Who we share it with

To match you with work, we may share relevant details with employers and recruiters seeking candidates — this is part of the matching service you consent to. We use trusted service providers (such as our database and email delivery providers) to operate the service, under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

5. Where your data is stored

Your personal information is stored in Australia (Sydney region). We collect only what is reasonably necessary for the purposes above (APP 3).

6. Your rights — access, correction, deletion, unsubscribe

You may, at any time: request access to the personal information we hold about you (APP 12); ask us to correct it (APP 13); ask us to delete it; or unsubscribe from our messages. Every message we send includes an unsubscribe option, and we honour unsubscribe requests within 5 business days. To make a request, reply to any message from us or email jobs@kairoshire.com.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to only retain it while it serves the purposes above.

8. Direct marketing (Spam Act)

Any commercial message we send identifies us as the sender and includes a functional unsubscribe facility, in line with the Spam Act 2003. We only send marketing content to people who have opted in to receive it.

9. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first at jobs@kairoshire.com and we'll work to resolve it. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
